![]() ![]() There’s no barring to improving WoW immersion, besides pure stubbornness I don’t understand. That last little comment honestly makes me think you don’t like Balance Druids out of some weird, petty spite… I’m not trying to “impress” anyone… though, yes, being able to see my own transmog, and sometimes just see myself in combat would be nice for both environmental consistency (which can mean the difference in a fight), and costumization acknowledgement by the game systems (the lack of which is ironically outdated). WoW seems to be the only game that has forgotten this, whereas other games COPIED WoW’s past reward systems to be successful. ![]() A New Translucent Celestial Form allowing Balance Druids to show armor, but with a shifting indication that Moonkin Form was activated. Cosmetics is one of the biggest endgame motivators, it might as well be considered a core pillar of how MMOs operate. I’d like to see more optionality here: Allow a re-split of Travel Form back into Travel, Aquatic, Flight (Cruise), Swift Flight, and Mount Forms optional via glyphs. I’m not arguing for the removal of Moonkin Form as in the other recent thread, since that would imply changing how Druids function mechanically, rotationally, and situationally in PvP as well… Going by armor type, weapon, plates, names, and spell animations should suffice. We already have Red or Fel fires for Destruction Warlocks. There was no reason to change it other than to “visually scream to the other players that you’re looking at a Moonkin”… Wouldn’t spell visuals and an orange name plate be enough to do that though?Īs replacement, dropping stars, a moon overhead or even partial glow effects could be put in if need be. Glyph of Stars used to be more translucent in MoP. Not everyone likes Moonkin forms, and not everyone likes being all Blue either. Earning the forms back in the day and them having separate buttons can be kept as a relic, and the modern version can be the default.Īs for showing the armor, it’s already a thing for Shadow Priests. It’s convenient, but sometimes streamlining for its own sake (as much as I’ve principally supported it as opposed to bloat) removes player agency in customization. Thank you for the, well, somewhat… angry… response.
